Here's where I’ve put all the small print and the following will give you a good idea about what's involved when buying on-line from Daisies & Gems.

By using this website and/or making a purchase you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below.

1.    Payment method

• All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP).
   

 

• Payment is processed and cleared through the PayPal banking system.
   

• When you’re ready to check out your basket/cart, press the Checkout button which will take you through to the Secure Checkout page, complete your shipping information (you also have the opportunity to “Add a note to seller”) and press Continue. 
   

• You will then be taken through to the PayPal website. You should see the secure yellow padlock icon in your web address bar. You then have the option to either sign into your PayPal account, or if you don’t have a PayPal account you can check out as a guest where you’ll be able to use your debit or credit card to finalise your purchase.

 

• On the page you are taken to, you will be able to access PayPal’s privacy policy on how it collects and uses personal information which includes it:
   

  • using industry-leading encryption and fraud prevention tools
     

  • not sharing your financial information with me at Daisies & Gems
     

  • sending you a confirmation email when you make a payment for a piece of jewellery you purchase from me
     

 

• We will both receive an email notification from PayPal which confirms the payment of your order.
   

• You will receive an email from Daisies & Gems to confirm your order and the number of days you can expect to receive your jewellery.

4.    Order cancellations

If you haven't submitted an order, please just use the 'Remove' button to clear any items in your shopping basket which you do not wish to purchase. 

If you have placed an order but then wish to change or cancel it, please let me know as soon as you can and preferably within 24 hours. Either email me at karen@daisiesandgems.co.uk or use my on-line “Get in Touch” form.

7.    Items lost in transit

You will receive an email from me on the day your jewellery has been posted to you. However, once your order is sent, delivery times are managed by the Royal Mail and if your order does not arrive when expected (see my delivery information page) I’d appreciate you allowing a day or two more before you contact me. Please also check if your parcel has been left with a next door or close neighbour. If after all this your order has not been located then please contact me and I will look into this further for you. 

8.    Product description

All products are described as accurately as possible on the relevant product page. 

However, please note that every gemstone (including those which are organic, e.g. pearls, coral) is unique, so you will notice some slight variations in colour, shape, and size from the photographs provided due to the nature of the rough material provided by Mother Nature, but I hope you will agree that this does give the added assurance that you are receiving an original and unique piece. 

Also, computer screen colour settings can vary and affect the way colour and textures appear on the viewing monitor. 

All jewellery is made by hand by me which also means that some of the pieces may sometimes turn out slightly different too ~ but hopefully because you’ve chosen to buy handmade jewellery, this is what you’d expect.

All product and commission images used on the website remain the copyright of Daisies & Gems. 

10.  Disclaimer

My products are made from small parts and are intended for decorative purposes. I cannot be held responsible for any incidents arising from the misuse of any products purchased. It’s your responsibility to ensure the pieces you’ve purchased are used in the correct and proper manner in which they are intended.

I make no claims as to the healing properties of gemstones and am not liable for any use or misuse of the information I’ve provided on this site. The healing properties are based on some of the most commonly acknowledged beliefs and are taken from various sources. There is no scientific proof behind any of the healing properties set out, and the use of the gemstones should in no way be used as a substitute for medical or psychological treatment.

I reserve the right to change the prices whenever I need to if materials, postage and packaging etc. increase for me.
